ART is used in Iron Man competitions, and is a patented soft tissue system / movement based technique that treats specific overuse problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. It was developed by Dr. Michael Leahy who was able to resolve over 90% of his patient's problems using this system.

Overuse injuries can produce scarring which can lead to restricted movement, lack of flexibility, and chronic pain. This also may lead to weakness, and if nerves are involved, tingling and numbness.

The treatment protocols are unique and allow providers to identify specific areas in each individual, thereby customizing a treatment approach.

Email us at info@ucrhealthcenters.com for more information on ART and other chiropractic modalities.
