UCR FAQs

What is an Urgent Care? Urgent Care fulfills a much-needed medical niche between primary care physician offices and the emergency room. Our clinics offer a higher level of care, which includes the ability to provide injections, intravenous, basic lab testing, x-rays, and suturing wounds.

Urgent Care facilities also offer on-the-job injury services to local businesses. UCR Health Centers Urgent Care provides occupational medical services, including pre-employment physicals, worker’s compensation back-to-work programs and drug screens.

Urgent care facilities are not designed to treat ambulatory traffic such as vehicle accidents, heart attacks or strokes.
